Expanding access, celebrating achievement
Overview
The University of Michigan College Access and Pathways Conference is a statewide initiative designed to expand access to life-changing education by sharing resources and opportunities with the educators who guide students toward college. Hosted on the U-M Ann Arbor campus, the conference brings together high school counselors, educators, and pre-college professionals from all 10 regions of the Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators (MASA). Through immersive sessions, campus experiences, and direct engagement with U-M faculty and staff, admissions, and outreach leaders, participants will see the University of Michigan as both accessible and aspirational.
How It Works
Led by Wolverine Pathways, the Center for Educational Outreach, the Office of Enrollment Management and LSA’s Intend to Attend, the conference advances an equity-driven, culturally responsive approach to college access. By deepening statewide partnerships and aligning U-M’s outreach efforts, this initiative strengthens college-going pathways, expands opportunity across Michigan communities, and builds a sustainable network of educators committed to preparing Michigan students for success at U-M and beyond.
